review drama Death Note series 2015

Welcome back to my blog. On this occasion I will review the story of the drama Death Note series 2015.

Lets start.

The drama is directed by Ryūichi Inomata, who is also the director of Kaseifu no Mita (2011) drama, and Ryō Nishimura is becoming known through the special version of Kamen Teacher drama which aired in 2004. The drama features Masataka Kubota as Light Yagami, Kento Yamazaki as L, and Mio Yūki as Near and Mello.

The drama aired on NTV on July 5, 2015. The first episode of the drama earned a rating of 16.9% in the Kantō Region.

Masataka Kubota as Light Yagami

Light is an ordinary student who is not very smart. He is a huge fan of actress Misa Amane. His father was a police chief and he inherited the soul of justice that existed in his father. One day, he found death note. At first he thought it was just a joke and ignored it. However, because curious Light was trying to write down the name of the person he really hates. The person also died, making Light aware of the power of the Death Note. He also decided to become a 'god' in a new world that he will create. A world without criminals. He kills the criminals he knows, so he is known as Kira (Killer).

Kento Yamazaki as L / L Lawliet

L is just a pseudonym, his real name is L. Lawliet. He is known as detective no. 1 in the world. He has the same nature as Kira, that is not to be outdone. Therefore, he sought evidence that Light was Kira because he had suspected Light from the beginning.

Jun Fukushima as Ryuk (voice)

Ryuk is a Shinigami who always follows Light. He is the true owner of the Death Note that Light brought. Ryuk is very fond of apples and always asks apples at Light.

Mio Yūki as Near / Mello

Near is the successor to L. He has a close relationship with L. Near having an evil soul in him called Mello. Near and Mello usually talk through dolls.

Hinako Sano as Misa Amane

Misa Amane is a cute singer who has a stack of fans. One of them is Light. Mass is also one of the Death Note holders other than Light. He devoted himself to Light after the killer of his parents was killed by Kira.

Yutaka Matsushige as Sōichirō Yagami

Soichiro Yagami is the father of Light as well as the chief of police. He joined the Kira investigation team.

Reiko Fujiwara as Sayu Yagami

Sayu Yagami is the sister of Light who is still in high school. Although Sayu is quite close to Light, Sayu does not know that Light is Kira.

Gōki Maeda as Tōta Matsuda

Tota Matsuda is one of the policemen who are members of Kira's investigation team.

Tomohisa Yuge as Shūichi Aizawa

Shuichi Aizawa is one of the policemen who are members of Kira's investigation team.

Jirō Satō as Kanzō Mogi

Kanzo Mogi is one of the policemen who are members of Kira's investigation team.

Megumi Seki as Shōko Himura / Halle Lidner

Shoko Himura is one of the policemen who are members of Kira's investigation team. His real name is Halle Lidner. He is the lover of the FBI detective who was killed by Light. Shoko actually works under Near's command to avenge his lover.

Kazuaki Hankai as Watari

Watari is a very loyal servant L. He did all the strange requests of L. After L died, Watari changed to Near's maid and made strange demands of Near.

Shugo Oshinari as Teru Mikami

Teru Mikami is someone who has a very high sense of justice. He considered Kira as his Lord and served Kira.

That is the story of the Death Note series 2015, I think Kento Yamazaki who plays as L, he is much better looking than Kenichi Matsuyama. But Kenichi Matsuyama is better for playing L in the Death Note. Those of you who already know this story will agree with my opinion. Besides Kento I am also happy with Mio Yuki who acts as Near. You also agree with me.
